MicroStrategy and AWS are a match made in heaven

MSTR <3 AWSIn the past, I have talked about Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the information one should know prior to moving your data to the cloud. After spending the last week at MicroStrategy World in Washington, D.C., our team was happy to hear that MicroStrategy has made it even easier to deploy their BI tool on AWS. Prior to this, our clients would have to first create an instance in AWS and then install their servers, software and applications – a process that usually takes about 3 to 4 hours at best.

With this new partnership between MicroStrategy and AWS, we can now create instances that have all of the servers, software and MicroStrategy applications preinstalled and ready to be configured by the end user. This new process can take as little as 15 minutes to complete, allowing the user to get up and running by the time they finish their lunch.

Now smaller organizations can take advantage of all the features that MicroStrategy has to offer including: mobile, web, architect and all the admin tools. If smaller organizations are hesitant about scaling too high or too low, they can start small in order to reduce their risk. As a user of MicroStrategy, these organizations will be able to build end-to-end solutions, scale as demand increases and grow as adoption rises, all with no long-tern commitments.

Larger organizations can create an environment in AWS, build an application and deploy that app 10x faster than before. This solution is meant for you to be able to solve the issues that your organization is facing, specifically your business analytics problems at a fraction of the time.

This partnership is something that will allow small and large organizations both to combine the power of MicroStrategy and the cloud, at a fraction of the previous price and deployed in record time. I urge you to look at both the MicroStrategy and AWS websites to learn more.
