I had a great experience while getting a shoe shine today.
The woman who was shining my shoes asked me what do you do. It was a longer version of the elevator speech that people talk about when you have the person of your dreams in the elevator. The one difference is that they have no idea about technology (most likely).
Jim’s quote of Harvey played through my mind "keep it simple I am a simple man". Or a post I remember reading over on Mark Skapinker blog where one of the VC (Sophie Forest) did an interview with one of her kids and explain what she did – the post.
These all reminded me of the fact that technology is irrelevant to the real world, just ultimate business value. Ever have that?
